Double-deck car is higher than other
regular cars
which are used in 200 mm Vietnamese railway but the floor board is 640 mm
less. For this reason, it can be operated safely in the conditions of Vietnam
Railways.
- Customers with 1.8 m -height can walk
easily in the second floor of double-deck car. There are 108 soft seats
in double-deck car, in that number 44 soft seats are in the second floor
and 64 soft seats are in the first floor.
- Double-deck car is equipped with 220/380 V-50
Hz electric system which is connected to
the generator in the train with a view to helping customers walk easily.
The water system with 950 litre-water tank satisfies the using demand
of customers. Air-conditioner system with two Thermoking-8 machine of
America is also equipped in double-deck car.
- There are 2 toilets in each car, one flat platform
and one unflat platform, which are suitable for every customor. Double-deck
car is equipped with new soundproofing and
insulating materials; the windows are equipped with transparent glasses
and nice curtain to ensure the noise level below 70 dB.
- Double-deck car which is used in 1000 mm-gauge
made the first time in Vietnam by the staffs of railway sector and is
the product of knowledge as well as internal
strength.
- Bringing into full play the achievements gained
from the second generation car, double-deck car is designed and manufactured
with new technology, high-standard technique as well as ensuring train
running safety, reducing noise. Double-deck car is also made from nearly
100% parts and materials produced in domestic.
- Basically, the size
of double-deck car is similar to the cars used in 1000 mm-gauge of Vietnam
Railways but the number of seat is nearly twice in comparison with regular
cars. Reducing the price of their product and ticket as well as better
serving every customer are the aim of designers.
- Double-deck car which is manufactured by Vietnam
Railways and tested successfully on the routes of Ha Noi - Hai Phong,
Ha Noi - Vinh, Ha Noi - Lao Cai, Ha Noi belt, ensuring train-running
technique standard.
- After testing, Vietnam Railways receives Comments
from customers to complete the design and they are manufacturing new
wagons to put them into operation on the routes of Ha Noi - Lao Cai,
Ha Noi - Vinh.
