Civil
Service And Generator Car K804E
The
civil service and generator car type K804E is equipped with a 320-KVA
centralized generator to supply electric power for 30-hour North-South
express trains (named E1/2). Its module design is completely carried out
on the computer-aided system. Several new materials, new structures and
new technical development of Vietnam Railways together with international
advanced technologies have been applied to the car.
The
car body is made of high-durability steel against environment's impact.
The sound-absorbing material is used for the interior lining. 220/380V
AC-50Hz power supply for the additional charge is from the centralized
generator. One half of the car's interior is for on-board staffs and train
conductor. There are 3 sleeping compartments and 1 control compartment
whose interior is harmoniously decorated; the cool air and lighting are
indirectly transmitted, the ceiling is made of composite material, wide
window are equipped with 2-layer safety glass. The W.C, washing rooms
and water tank are made of stainless steel. There are also a water-heater
and an electronic information announcement panel in the car.
This
car can satisfy the requirements of power supply as well as working and
resting condition for on-board staffs with high safety level and simple
maintenance. Before being put into operation, all the new cars must be
tested as the regulation of Vietnam Railways.
